Thx Warren. No, I always work light to dark with watercolor. Things in the distance are generally lighter in value so I start there and then gradually build my values. Foreground is usually last.

Beatiful work! Easy to see the different areas of light. On this did you work foreground to background?

See comment below as well. This one I did put some of the foreground in before the background. With watercolor though I tend to work it in terms of value (light and dark) rather than foreground to background.
